If you own an Aerotrek here in the USA, it’s highly likely you purchased from Rollison Light Sport Aircraft in Bloomfield, IN. Those who purchased their pre-owned Aerotrek from another party may have contacted Rollison Light Sport at some point during the transaction.
It is my understanding that Rollison Light Sport is the only N. American distributor and has been since 2009. If I’m wrong on this, please correct me in your comment. I want accurate info too.
I began my interaction with Rob Rollison long before taking delivery of my A240. Probably a month or two before ordering and during the 13 months it took for delivery. I had so many questions for Rob as I tried to gather as much info as possible. Even after placing my order and handing over the deposit, I continued asking questions and learning about the airplane I’d be getting.
I wish everyone handled their business the way Rob does with Rollison Light Sport. His customer service is second to none. No matter the question or time of day it was asked, Rob always answered in a timely manner. And those answers were always incredibly detailed. Well beyond what I expected. He even included info I hadn’t thought to ask, which made my understanding of the issue even better. It’s as if he knows where your head is at and beats you to the punch with your follow-up question.
In all, I couldn’t have asked for a better purchase experience. Even after the sale, Rob has been very proactive in answering additional questions. He puts so much time and effort into his business. It’s a shame he’s only allocated a dozen planes per year. It would be great seeing many more Aerotreks in the sky.
